product inquiry Button

Hi,
many users send us inquiry via contact us form. there are 90% incomplete.
suppose a user send an inquiry about " Nivea Cream". Nevia has a wide range of creams, so we can't identify which
type of cream he want.
So need an " send inquiry" button at product's detail page like " add to wishlist"
Please make it possible.

I use a simple mailto link on my product page with a text link that sends an email to me with the model number and link to the product in it so I can easily click the link to see exactly which item they are asking about:
Just put it where ever you want on the product.tpl page.

i modify (lol i m not such a php developer) a php mailer form and insert that form in <iframe> every thing fine but one thing... can't got the current URL . Please check my page i,ll send u all php file . goto my site http://www.atc-center.com
and click at any product and then click at "Inquiry" near "watchlish". Thanks

For some reason, this is no longer working for me in 1.5.6.4 and haven't been able to figure out why. The breadcrumb href link hasn't changed, but the link to product is NOT showing in the email

Hi,

Check this extension. It makes all add to cart button disabled for quantity less then zero.
Multi Feature - Stock Manager
It adds a Inquiry Now button for that. So when someone clicks on this. It takes them to contact us page with auto filled message about the product.

I think this is an excellent way to solve the issue with product inquiries. I've made a simple VQmod out of your code, adding your link to the product form. Just change the emailaddress and modify the language strings to suit your language. Upload to vqmod/xml. Works fine with Opencart 2.0.3.1.

Anyone able to get this working with 2.1.0.1
