Enhanced Image Directory

I searched and searched for something I thought would be fairly easy to do and find.

I need to be able to have a file manager that allows each admin to upload images to a folder dedicated to them only. That way admin1 (for example) can't use or delete the other admins files.

I tried to change the DIR_IMAGE . 'data/' occurrences to DIR_IMAGE . 'data/test' in the admin/controller/common/filemanager.php file (figuring if I could get a static modification to work I could get it to work dynamically too). Static didn't work. Even after creating the 'test' directory in the 'data' directory the image would upload, but not preview and when I used it in a product (for example) it did not display it.

Ideas? (I didn't want to go into too much detail on the first post, but I can supply additional information about why I need so many admins and how I can identify the admins that need this versus normal admins.)
