strange if your logged in it calculates the postage in the estimator ok
but if your a guest even though i've filled in the delivery info
ie uk, norfolk and postcode is doesn't show up as any type of postage?????
any ideas please
I have exactly the same problem, Royal Mail module enabled, selected postage options enabled and it does not shop up on checkout page.
All products have weight in grams configured, Weight Class in system settings set to grams, Weight Class in Royal Mail shipping extension is set to Grams and yet ot doesn't come up on checkout.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a bug? I'm on 1.5.1.3, tested on both upgraded shop and fresh installation.

I am having this same issue, I am new to OpenCart and wasn't sure if it was something I've been doing wrong, I cannot get the weight based shipping or the Royal Mail shipping to work at all.
Even when I turn on the "Show weight on basket" options they do not show.

I think I have figured this out, in System -> Settings the Weight class has to be set to KG for your store, only then will the Royal Mail show on checkout.

OMG Thank you Thesnipergecko! - I have spent best part of the last 12 hours trying to figure out why my Royal mail option was not showing up at check out - you are dead right - however - from my experience weight class setting in shop has to simply match weight class setting in royal mail - doesn't have to be KG as long as they are the same.
NB - I am really new to this, so don't take my word as gospel!!!
BTW - Open cart is amazing! I have learned so much so quickly - it is generally so simple and intuitive and the forums have really helped sort out the odd tricky bit. Thank you all soooooo much - and to all the people moaning: Go and spend some money and see if you can buy anything better

My store weight class and RM module weigh class are both in gram but it still won't show during checkout. I gave up and just copied names and rates to weight-based shipping, took 5 minutes and works perfectly.
To resolve this issue simply set your Weight Class to Kilograms (from the Settings/Local page) and it appears to instantly activate the Royal Mail options so that they show on the checkout and estimate options etc.
Your Royal Mail settings can still be set to either Grams or Kilograms regardless.
It's probably just a minor bug but this resolves the issue for both Guest and Login checkouts.

I am using opencart version 1.5.5.1 and I am having a problem with the Royal Mail Shipping module.
During checkout, when I fill in the delivery details and select UK as a country the Royal Mail option appears in the shipping options. If I select any other country the Royal Mail option does not appear. I want to use Royal Mail for all my dispatches and distinguish the prices according to the Geo Zones.
I have set everything and everywhere to kilograms (in General tab of trhe Royal Mail module, in System-->Settings-->Local tab, in product page in the Data tab too). Also, in the Geo Zone I have selected All Zones and the rates are set 0.5:2.50
Could anyone help me with this issue?
