It's not a dumb question.. but there is no "hard number" at this time. I believe Daniel is adding it to the next version in the admin area.
1.3.0 has no customer group option
1.3.2 has a lot of files in the system/helper folder whereas other versions have them in the library folder. (currency, language, etc)
1.3.4 has a guest checkout option in the settings area

This is really not a dumb question at all. I think there are tonnes of people using opencart that have this same problem.
