I've not found any posts for these (other than cursory discussion) and wither they're being looked into or not for future inclusion, but two requests;
  • implement Amazon S3/CloudFront as an 'off-site' distribution system for digital downloads - for those that don't know, ths allows files to be hosted on Amazons servers for distribution via their network, useful for offloading bandwidth necessary for digital based stores. [docs]
  • add support for PayPals Adaptive Payment system - allows payments to be split between a number of recipients (amongst other things) so store income can be managed at source between sellers (which removes/relieves some of the tax burdens associated with selling other peoples goods) [docs]
So far as I can tell no other shopping cart provides either of these services out of the box which could be a bit of a coup for OpenCart if it were 'first to market' so to speak. Cheers for reading.

This is a great idea i know cloud cache is supported here but pricing is steep per month compared to amazon cloud front and who knows they cloud cache may use amazon servers?? anyway point is i have a small shop and while id love to pay £1000 a month for a server im using a shared server and looking to offload alot of the product images to cloud front to reduce band width from the server.
