Hi,
I am using version 1.3.3 OC.
I have a problem with the following categories
I have created such a category tree in admin:
[ ] T-shirts
[ ] T-shirts > size 36
[ ] T-shirts > size 36 > Boys
[ ] T-shirts > size 36 > Girls
[ ] T-shirts > size 37
[ ] T-shirts > size 37 > Boys
[ ] T-shirts > size 37 > Girls
[ ] Trousers
[ ] Trousers > size 36
[ ] Trousers > size 36 > Boys
[ ] Trousers > size 36 > Girls
etc...
I Add new product (t-shirts funny)to:
[v] T-shirts
[v] T-shirts > size 36
[v] T-shirts > size 36 > Boys
[ ] T-shirts > size 36 > Girls
[ ] T-shirts > size 37
[ ] T-shirts > size 37 > Boys
[ ] T-shirts > size 37 > Girls
[ ] Trousers
[ ] Trousers > size 36
[ ] Trousers > size 36 > Boys
[ ] Trousers > size 36 > Girls
If I click on store categories on the T-shirts - I have all the T-shirts - its Ok!
If I click on store categories on the T-shirts > size 36 - I have only T-shirts size 36 - its Ok!
If I click on store categories on the T-shirts > size 36 > Boys - I have only T-shirts size 36 for boys - its OK!
Problem:
I add other product (blue trousers) to:
[ ] T-shirts
[ ] T-shirts > size 36
[ ] T-shirts > size 36 > Boys
[ ] T-shirts > size 36 > Girls
[ ] T-shirts > size 37
[ ] T-shirts > size 37 > Boys
[ ] T-shirts > size 37 > Girls
[v] Trousers
[v] Trousers > size 36
[v] Trousers > size 36 > Boys
[ ] Trousers > size 36 > Girls
If I click on store categories on the Trousers - I have all the Trousers - its Ok!
If I click on store categories on the Trousers > size 36 - I have T-shirts size 36 - WHY ?
categories on the Trousers > size 36 > Boys - not displayed! - WHY ?
in the admin panel I created a subcategory Trousers> size 36> Boys, however, does not display it in a shop on the left side of the tree, but it appears in the central window. - WHY ?
If I click in a window on central boys - displaying T-shirts for boys
I think this is an issue of similar names of subcategories, but this should not be because I have to sort the product according to its purpose - how can I fix it?

You shouldn't need to make them unique. The database stores the query (eg. product_id = 27, category_id = 32, information_id = 2, etc.) Since the product_id, category_id and information_id are unique, it shouldn't make any difference if the keyword isn't. Although, it might be confusing for search engines if they aren't.DoctorQ wrote:Thank you for helping,
does this mean that every SEO friendly URL's must be unique for each category and subcategory?
Personally, I think the real issue with SEO friendly URLs is more to do with human readability than search engine optimization.
