Open cart as an image gallery

At present my client does not want the site as an ecommerce site but in future. Therefore I am trying to modify Open Cart as a Photo Gallery.
So far I have removed all the elements which makes Opencart as an ecommerce tool. Now the only task I am confronting is :

when I click on the thumbnail of the category page, it takes me to the product page and then when i click the thumbnail on the product page there opens a lightbox.

What I want to happen is that, when I click on the thumbnails on the category page, it would not take me to the product page instead opens lightbox.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me how to do it.

I have an image gallery module (http://www.fido-x.net/index.php?route=p ... duct_id=57). It is currently available for OpenCart 1.3.2, but I will be updating it for 1.3.4 during the coming week.

Using this, means you don't have to do any major modifications (that you may have to undo later) to your (or your client's) OpenCart setup, just enable the gallery module and disable the others.
