Specifying Products Displayed on Latest Products

1) Is there a way to specify which products are displayed on latest products.

I've got the total number displayed working the way I want (limitd to 4).
But I'd like to specify which products are displayed.

2) Does Fidos Featured Products moduel work with 1.34.

3) If so ... I guess I could possibly disable the latest products element and use the Featured Products with more control ?

Any suggestions ?

Answer to question 2 is: Yes, my Featured Products does work with 1.3.4.
