After install complete, i see the Congratulations below
"Congratulations! You have successfully installed OpenCart"

then when i click the website, both the store and admin have the same error

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid/gid is 10003/10003 is not allowed to access /var/tmp/ owned by uid/gid 0/0 in /data2/MyUserName/www.MyDomain.com/system/library/session.php on line 11

Pls help me .....

Ask you hoster, he can disable php safe-mode.

can i to it by myself
why the host need to enable the php safe mode
i'm on dedicated server

I don't know how to enable it, ask the server administrator.

i found that it is risky to turn the safe mode off

PHP safe_mode is very important to in terms of server security because it restricts and disables the dangerous functions in PHP from the scripts like PHP Shell that can otherwise cause damages to your server and client sites.

can i just turn it on on one domain/website only which run the opencart
Can i do that and will it work ?
i don't want to risk my other website

i just ask my host to turn it off for the domain that use opencart only
it is running now, but i'm not sure all the thing can working properly, if only turn off for that site only.
