When you browse to the page of an individual contribution, you will see that in the case of multiple uploads the sort order is ascending. It would be better to order them descending, to start with the latest version uploaded, because it is current version and it should be easily available. If someone needs an older release, should scroll down.

In addition to this, the latest contribution release should be displayed in the 'Latest Contributions' block of the front page.

One more thing, when multiple uploads available for a contribution - Hungarian language pack in my case -, the download counter should display the actual hits of the corresponding file. Currently each individual uploads show the same 'Downloaded' value. In the previous home page version it was counted correctly, as I can remember.

I agree with LocaLiceR, that the latest update should be at the top of the page. I've run into situations where I posted an update, but people were still downloading the wrong version. It's an easy mistake since the initial version is hilited and updates are not.
In addition to this, the latest contribution release should be displayed in the 'Latest Contributions' block of the front page.
This makes sense, too.

1. Search button doesn't work nor in Opera 9.63 and FF 3.0b and konquerror.
2. Yesterday i uploaded contribution (first and hopefully not last :) ), but somewhy it hasn't appeared at "last" section. possibly cache problems?

Thank You.

Don't know about others but I would find a delineation by OC Verions # ie a section for each version that contains only those contributions that work with that version and are not part of the core.

A stupid question is the one you -don't- ask.........(Anon)

)C1.5.0.1 (IN devel)
OC V1.4.9.5
OC V1.4.9.2
OC V1.4.7
OC V1.3.4

Agreed, as you risk killing your site adding a module that does not work for you given version.

Code: Select all

It was like that when I found it, honest!

as long as we are making suggestions for the contribution section I would suggest there be a way to search all contributions without having to pick a category.
