Search Bar not working in Shoploop theme

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am building a website using the Shoploop theme, however the search bar is not working on the site. It will allow me to type in the box and will perform the search, but it always returns saying no results found, even though I am searching identically to products that we are selling on the site.

Has anyone else had this problem at all? Even with a different theme? Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

same prob with a Boss theme (campstore)

Odd, my custom theme had the same issue. Had to download several modules, now it works fine. Maybe theme makers don't check their code as far as search engine results go, or there's something tricky about it?

My "fix" was to download the extension "Enhanced Search / Improved Search" and "Smart Search" and now it works great.
