I have just been trying to setup google analytics on my shop site and come across a weird problem can anyone assist.
I have downloaded and pasted the google analytic code and everything went well and it looks like i see when someone is on my website in google analytics. The problem i find is when in the admin section of the shop and looking at modules that i have two modules listed that dont work and also do not appear to be part of the original default upload of version 1.5.1.3. They are Google_analytics and Cart, my question is where did they come from and should they be there have they been left over from a previous version of opencart when upgrading. Do i need a google analytics module for it to work correctly ?

opencart has google analytics built in, admin > system > settings > server tab you can put your code there. this is just the basic google analytics, only adds the code to the header. if you upgraded your cart you may have some mods that dont work with your new version or need to be upgraded also.

Thanks for the reply, after doing some search through my files it looks like somehow these files where uploaded to the opencart shop site from a folder that operates another ecommerce site (not opencart) they compare exactly so i will remove them from the folders.
