i know thath it' is better use div instead of tables but i have to use tables to broke a large image in few pieces.

in firefox i have the problem thath in the bottom of the image is visible a withe border, i tryed to play with default.css with no results, the only solution i found is to remove the

Code: Select all

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
line but i would prefer find another solution.

i made some test with padding: 0; margin: 0; border: none; with no results.

some suggestions?

???

Do you mean general page layout? May you provide us a screenshot/listing of your template and css?

If you place images into table, try to have a look on table's margin as well as padding of page body, all these values should be set to 0 if you want to avoid white border (but it is quite hard to judge your situation without better description - I just guess what may help)

why don't you slice it in photoshop and convert the image into css with image ready?
