Upgrade 1.5.4 to 1.5.5.1

I have a new install of 1.5.4 with no changes to the defaults. After I run the upgrade script I get a blank page at http://wholesalecrystalsuncatchers.co.u ... te=upgrade

If I go to wholesalecrystalsuncatchers.co.uk I get the message Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Empty delimiter in /home/sites/wholesalecrystalsuncatchers.co.uk/public_html/catalog/controller/common/header.php on line 60

I have performed the upgrade 3 times and always get the same result.

go to system > settings > server tab and fill in the robots field
