accepting payments on orders initiated from admin

We have an online retail store and we want to take more orders via telephone and mail order. We would like our customer service staff to initiate and process the orders from the admin AND process/accept the payment from inside the order in the admin.

I have scoured the extensions offered on Opencart, but have not found one that adds the payment functionality to the 'insert order' in the admin.

Has anyone seen an extension that does this, or do you have any suggestions for finding something that will be suitable? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Why not have staff place the orders through the front-end? We take many phone orders and that seems to work fine.
