V 1.3.0 to 1.3.4 lost paypal direct but no paypal express

So I went through all the different installation steps to get from 1.3.0 to 1.3.4 everything seems to be working fine except for the admin Payment Methods. Paypal Direct will not show up once installed. When I click on the edit the page is blank. While trying to look through the different files to see what the major differences were, I noticed some .tpl files for pp_express and google_checkout. Yet those options are not listed on my admin page of payment methods. What "new" payment methods are there from 1.3.0 to 1.3.4?

Did I miss something in the upgrades. I went through each upgrade one by one and didn't notice this until after I got up to 1.3.4.

paypal direct has been renamed to paypal pro!

huh - is there a way to remove the paypal direct from showing up then on the admin page? what are all the new payment options? I saw something about google checkout - but it doesn't show on that admin page.

goto your db manage browse through the settings table and remove all paypal_direct enteries.

Actually the database is only half of it. You also need find and delete all 7 files that are named pp_direct.*
