My name is Franz (aka blurb), I'm an old aged hippy and I live down-under in New Zealand.
I'm new to this forum, as well as being new user of OpenCart and on top ogf that I'm an absolute novice when it boils down to php etc. Thank goodness for auto installers.
Have looked through the forum, as well as the extension directory for a page background changer so instead of just having a plain colour I could select an image (bg) and use that.
A good example of what I hope is already available for opencart (and have'nt as yet found it here or in the extension directory) can be found here http://www.kiwibares.co.nz - background is fixed so only page scrolls
Is there anything like this available for opencart?

You most certainly can...
go into ftp and open catalog/view/theme/default/stylesheet and edit the stylesheet.css file.
find
and add in something like this
