I'm not sure where else to post this. Is there any update on when developer docs might be released?

http://doc.hostjars.com/display/opencar ... oper+Guide is where you will find the best documentation when and if it ever gets updated.

Devel stuff is not overly available here so I suggest you download a bunch of free themes and extensions. Look at the code and you will soon see how everything is coded.... wait for it.... to make sense! OC is future proof structure but I digress.

Install wamp so you can play around on your local computer
Learn vqmod and how to create basic "hello world" mods
Install themes and play around with them changing titles, colors, graphics and such
Install mods and look at the code, compare code
Read read read the official release thread for the version of OC you are using

Hope this helps...

I currently have one of my guys going through the documentation from hostjars and transferring to opencart.com

there is also a wiki system i just need to add the links to so people can add changes that can be approved.

Oh great, thanks for the tips and thanks for responding Daniel. I was beginning to think opencart is dead.

I know a decent amount of PHP (too rusty at it though, but refreshing myself XD) and recently downloaded PHPStorm, it has a plugin that builds UML, it created a great starting point for me.
