You probably need to post on the magento forums as anyone here would be those who moved from magento (or other carts) to opencart.
Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

I don't really get the point of leaving OC and migrating to Magento but anyway you can check this video tutorial.
I would suggest you to think twice before leaving OpenCart. It is a great, powerful and intuitive solution. Unlike Magento it is not full of errors and bugs, for instance upgrade process that is quite simple with OC may become a real nightmare with Magento.
