GD extension need to loaded

HI all,

i just tried to configure my opencart but i encountered errors as belows.
is it i need to configure for my PHP.INI?

Warning: GD extension needs to be loaded for OpenCart to work!

GD is a php extension. It needs to be compiled into your php. If it is not compiled then changing the php.ini won't help you, however I suppose you could have a situation where it's compiled, but not enabled in the php.ini. If you are not hosting yourself you should contact your host and tell them you need GD. It really should be a part of most hosting as lots of php software makes use of it.
