Hi,
I just installed v1.3.3 and there seems to be a bug with changing default currency. I wanted to set USD to default and disable any other currency. Well, I could disable them, and I changed value of USD to 1.00000 but it still showed pound sign in front of all prices. After going to PHPMyadmin, I switched the ID numbers around (so USD has ID=1 and GBP has ID=2), and that seemed to solve the problem. Still, in my OpenCart admin panel, GBP still has the "default" word next to it, but all prices are actually showed in USD with $ in front of them.
Well, here I am, on a completely different computer, and I still see GBP as default, even though USD is supposed to be the default. When I clear cache and cookies, for some reason, the currency resets (GBP will again have value of 1.0000), even if I clear them after I log out from the admin page. An no matter what I do, GBP says "default", and also acts like one. Go ahead please, check out [url deleted] and see if you can see $ signs. I have Euro and GBP disabled and GBP value is set to 0.6, and USD value is set to default 1.000000000. On my computer, I see prices in GBP, in fact, they are even multiplied by the default value of GBP (1.6) - for example the Ipod Classic should have a price of $595, yet it shows 357GBP . Not sure what is going on, but this is not a cookie/cache issue.
EDIT: never mind, I figure it out after all. Obviously, I needed to set the currency on two different places (settings/local and localization/currency). All is good.

This caught me for a sec. I wanted to get rid of currency selector, so I did , then I couldn't get the currency to chang. I reinstalled currency selector chose the right currency then nuked it. Alls good in the hood. For now!

are you sure your settigns page is even saving?
does it show a green bar at the top to confirm its saved?
if not check the form to see if there is an error somewhere.
