google product category

When I try to submit the feeds in Merchant account, it says "Missing recommended attribute: google product category (119 warnings)". How do I resolve the issue for it?

What are you using to generate your feed? I've found most of the extensions for OC don't generate this propperly so have resorted to having to manually insert it into some of my feeds.

its asking for you to mark your products with the google defined category, its quite simple once you read this page http://support.google.com/merchants/bin ... wer=160081 . You can use there taxonomy tree to find the right product category towards the bottom of the page.

once you've looked at that let me know how many different google product categorys you are going to be using, if its just one the fix is real simple.

This is the category i am planning to use:

Apparel & Accessories > Clothing

I have another category for shoes too.

I am selling apparels, shoes and jewelry on my website.

I have the same issue, and all of my products will be in the one Google category. How do I specify it for the products? I'm using Opencart's Product Feeds function.
