Please help. My website is almost ready to go and I am loading the last of products. However as of yesterday when I am in the product data tab and click "browse files" to load a product picture, the image manager pops up but doesn't load any images to choose from. Its very frustrating to have come this far and now I am completely stuck. The only thing I have ever edited in the file side is the css stylesheet. I have not tampered with anything else so can't comprehend why this has happened.
The site I am building is located at http://miraclebaby.co.nz/storefront. Thank you heaps for any help.
Thought I would save others the time, hopefully before they get started setting this up. I have wasted about $200 in extensions and a lot of my time, but I think I will have to find another solution. My request:
Can you please give me some help on this image manager issue. I have gone through the forums and tried everything. I am to the point I have to either: 1) reinstall, 2) use a different cart.
Official response from developer:

what about 2 more options. searching the forum and hiring a developer.
I thought I would save others the time, hopefully before they spend the $250 in extensions I have spent, and the time I have wasted.
Cheers!

You might have a bad file in the image directory which is preventing Image Manager to load images.
You can check for zero byte files or those containing special characters in the directories which do not show up images. If found, remove/replace them. This might fix the problem. Examples of what those files might look like:
Zero byte file: blackberry-bold.jpg Filesize: 0 bytes ---- Remove/replace these files
Unsupported characters: black$%berry[].b0$$.jpg ---- Rename files lke these to simple english like black_berry_boss.jpg etc
Other problem might be with a file having an incorrect extension. Such as a png file having a jpg extension and so on. You need to check it through an image viewer like IrfanView on your PC and correct the extension before uploading it thru image manager.
Last but not the least, you might have an image file or files which is/are corrupted. Check for these through an image viewer on your PC, they will not load up and throw an error. You need to remove/replace these files from your image directory.
Hope this helps.
