Hi all -
I've installed OpenCart 1.3.0 for a client to evaluate. I'm new to OpenCart, and I did a completely fresh installation.
Things work reasonably well with the supplied template, but the client would like me to use something darker... I'm attempting to get "default_am-dark2" working.
Here's what I've done so far, based on what I've seen come up in other forum posts:
1. Put the preview image where the settings page is expecting to see it, renaming it "default_am-dark2.png", so that the admin can find and select this template.
2. Renaming the variables in the contact template so that the captcha is properly displayed and no warnings about undefined variables are present.
3. Renaming templates for "paypal" to "pp" to be consistent with the 1.3.0 release notes.
So far so good, except there was of course some frustration getting this far.
4. Next, I noticed that the language flag icon at the top of the page was not present. The HTML source code is referring indirectly to "image/flags/gb.png", which when using the dark template maps to "http://www.mystorename.com/store/catalo ... ags/gb.png" -- if you look closely it is using the "default" theme directory rather than the "default_am-dark2" theme directory. On top of that, there is no flags directory under catalog/view/theme/default/image/. There _is_ a flags directory in image/ at the root directory of the store. I copied this directory and its contents into catalog/view/theme/default/image/ and it now works. This may be a bug, but I don't know enough yet about how templates are managed to be sure.
5. Here's where I'm stuck:
When clicking "add to cart" using the dark template, the "Shopping Cart" block on the right of the page does not always update properly (sometimes it does, though). The item is indeed added to the cart, you can explicitly click on the "Basket" link and see the results. The animation of adding the item appears to work, but the "Shopping Cart" block update is incomplete. It changes from "0 items" to "Sub-Total $0.00", and does not show the name of the item.
Any change of page will cause this to be rendered correctly. My concern is that some customers will encounter the bug, think they didn't add an item successfully, and add it again, only to be overcharged at checkout.
Anyone have any experience with this issue?

The update 'bug' must be in the jquery code in cart.tpl.
I'll remake all the AM templates for 1.3.0 rather than try to support you all individually or collectively to give you a solution... check back in a couple of days.
