unwanted html code in product description 1.5.4.1 & other

Hi,
I am using a new download of 1.5.4.1 for a brand new site & I am getting unwanted html code in my new product form in the description box. Below are 2 examples of the problem & an error in the Welcome module & can't disable or uninstall modules & I have all the admin permissions selected.

Example: I type test in the prdt description box & save it, when viewing the item live it shows <p> Test</p>

Another example is I type in the prdt description test22222222222222 this is a test & the site shows
<p> <p> test22222222222222 this is a test</p></p>

I was also getting that unwanted html code in the Welcome Module

I type in e Are Adding New iPhone 5 Accessories Daily & save it, & it shows this:

<p> <h1 style="text-align: center; "> <strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">We Are Adding New iPhone 5 Accessories Daily</span></strong></h1> <p> &nbsp;</p></p>

Does anybody have an idea how to fix this problem ?

Also I can't disable or uninstall modules at all, even though I click on them, they stay the same enabled & installed !!!!

I added a few modules:
1.AnyFeed
2.SEO Pack Pro which is disabled now
3. UNIQUE!! Memcache + MySQL Cache! GREAT PERFORMANCE & RANKING

I did add a theme below but was able to change the theme back to default:

I can't figure out what is going on with this install ?

I did create another site from the same exact download 1.5.4.1 & that works fine, any ideas here, what is going on ?

If you want to use tag (<div></div>,<p></p>,etc...) in description, click the source button first then put the code.

I don't want to use it, it is putting the html code in their automatically, I am just typing text in the description
