Hello OpenCart community,

i had a few questions about adding another shop to my Open Cart installation.
i have already looked for the answers on the forums, but could not find a clear answer.

i already have 1 webshop with a lot of items, but now i want to open a second webshop that has a few items as the first webshop. The idea of a multi-store is that both stores share the same stock. So if both shops have the same items, and a customer buys the item in 1 of the shops, both shops have 1 less of that product.

But here is my question that i would love to have answered before i try to open a second shop:

Is it possible that the second shop has different auto-emails, different email templates, different order template then the first shop. Because the second shop will get a totally different name and style. And if this is possible, how do i accomplish this?

Thanks in advance!

both stores will use the same email address but each will have its own branding on the emails. the emails for each store will have a link to the store the order is placed on. it also uses the logo from each store so your customers shouldn't know about the other store

Ah, allright, well that is good. Tho i just spend quite some time making a custom email template for store one, that has a green design and the second store has a purple design, so i don't think that will match really well.

Is there a (simple) way to maybe copy-paste some .tpl files so each store uses theire own? Or am i making thinks really complicated then? Maybe an Extension? i have found 1 extension that says that it does that, but no one has ever aproved that extension and it costs 100 euro's, so i do no really trust that one.

Thanks for the quick reply!
