Do you often ask or hire someone to make some changes to your shop? It's so annoying to give admin and FTP login passwords to other people.

With this extension you can send invitation with special secure auto-login link - and cancel it when you decide.

HelpMe includes feature-reach File Manager and MySQL Admin modules - right in your admin area.
File Manager supports ZIP uploading/extraction and PHP code edit with syntax highlight.

This eliminates the need to give FTP and MySQL access. And you can benefit of this tools too. No need to login to hosters cpanel for some changes.

Take it here - http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=8507

But, with the File Manager eXtplorer, your config.php still readable.
Your database login and password are still visible for the person who log in via your auto login link.

How would you tackle this issue??

You are 100% right.
And there is no use to hide it anyway...
2 lines of code added to any PHP file will reveal this info.

That's a big topic around the whole community. When you install any tiny modification your destiny is granted to another person - until you read all the incoming code line by line. There's the only solution - use trusted extensions and work with trusted people. Hard truth ;-)
