For anyone who is interested, I have added a mod to the Extensions directory which automatically generates a unique SEO Keyword to any Manufacturer, Category, Product or Information page whenever the "Save" button is clicked when adding a new item or editing an existing one.
No need to click an additional "Generate SEO Keywords" button each time you perform any maintenance on your store!
