Hi guys,

I have a problem with the calculation of taxes.

Let's say i have a product of $125. My cart looks like this:

Sub-Total: $125.00
Sales Tax (6%): $7.50
Total: $132.50

Now, once i choose the shipping method i have this:

Sub-Total: $125.00
Shipping: $12.00
Sales Tax (6%): $7.50
Total: $144.50

I just want my Sales tax to be calculated or updated after i add shipping too, then to update its value and also the total. So have it like this:

Sub-Total: $125.00
Shipping: $12.00
Sales Tax (6%): $8.22 (6% of Sub-Total + Shipping which is $137.00)
Total: $145.22

Is there any expert here on this part who can help me? I really appreciate that!

Thank you!

In Extensions > Order Totals, just set the Sort Orders to:

1. Sub-Total
2. Shipping
3. Taxes
9. Total

Then, make sure a tax class is applied to your shipping method. That will add the taxed shipping cost into the Taxes order total.

What shipping method are you using? Double-check that your tax class is set up for the correct geo zones, that you're testing within that geo zone when checking out, and that the tax class is properly selected for your products and shipping method.
