how to modify the vQmod file to add meta tags

Hello,

could smebody help me to modify the vQmod file? I'd like to put my meta tags somewhere in the xml file (or wherever I need to put them ...). I am using the vQmod file made by the user "philbydevil"; found in this topic: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=50950.
