[vQmod] - Shareasale.com Affiliate Success script

Simple script for people who use shareasale.com for affiliate tracking.
Edit the script and change your "merchant_id" where instructed
Should work for both 1.4.x and 1.5.x

Qphoria, I am about to upgrade our OpenCart from 1.4.x to the 1.5.x... I hacked our current version (1.4.9) with the shareasale.com tracking code... it currently tracks/reports the total to shareasale.com before any shipping costs are applied. I am not familiar at all with all the changes OpenCart has gone through so please forgive my ignorance- does your script do the same, the total before the shipping cost? Also what do I do with this script? Where do I place it in relation to OpenCart folder? Thanks in advance! Much appreciated.

I am using the shareasale vqmod, but I have one problem, it seems to be including the shipping cost, where as it should be reporting the subtotal without shipping cost to shareasale. Is there a fix for this?

It seems that this Shareasale.xml no longer works because the clear cart code is no longer in success.php

Can you give some direction on how to modify this to work?

For some reason this vqmod is not working for me. I get the following error upon checking out:

Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED): Unknown error.

We are using 1.5.3.1

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix it? (I'm happy to pay for anyone's time to get it working)

Hi, I used this and it works wonderfully. However, my client only wants to pay commission on the subtotal, so I need to submit the total sale price without taxes or shipping included.

I suspect that I need to change where it says "$order_info['total']" in the code. Is that correct? What should I put to basically send the order subtotal to the affiliate tracker?
