Add to cart animation feature back

Would it be possible to have back in the near future the "add to cart animation" that Opencart used in previous versions? I find it more useful and intuitive than the new success message that appears when you buy a product (and better if you are going over a long list of products, because the new feature takes you to the top of the web page, which might be a bit annoying).
