Problem with SEO url

I changed the htaccess.txt file to htaccess. and inside was the proper info of changing the title of the document, and the commands. When going to the link I wrote using the SEO link writing it leads to an Error 404. I have contacted my host provider and they said apache with mod_rewrite is enabled. Please help

Are you sure the file is renamed to .htaccess (with a dot in front of it)? Did you also turn on SEO URLs in System > Settings > Server?
