Update form 0.7.8 to 1.3.2 possible ?????

Hi,

I have a smalland simple Question:

Is it possible to update the one year old 0.7.8 to the newest one without loosing the Layout?
I have changed nearly everything at the templates.
I have allready tried to update, and use the old templates, but it wasn't working at all =>

So, is it in any way possible to update?
