New files?

I'm converting some modules to use vqmod. Some have brand new files that don't exist. I can't find anywhere in the docs that says how to handle this. I am thinking that new PHP files are simply uploaded as normal, and that vqmod is only to be used for editing existing files. Is that right?

You are right. vQmod cannot create new files, just copy them. Anyway they will not be overwritten during update.
