how to config mail's service?

I have a server to run my website,and install a email server which is ok,but,when i config it in "admin->configuration-> Settings ->mail" ，below:
Mail Protocol: mail
SMTP Host: ***
SMTP Username: ***
SMTP Password: ***
SMTP Port:25
SMTP Timeout:10

and register in the front,it give me a message:
Warning: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 550 5.7.1 Relaying to <leijungood@hotmail.com> denied (authentication required) in F:\shopping\system\library\mail.php on line 139Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at F:\shopping\index.php:67) in F:\shopping\system\engine\controller.php on line 23

yes，i open php_smtp in php.ini,but i don't know how to config opencart,hope you help,thanks!

you just set the Mail Protocol to mail

no need for username and password.
