Have a client that has a existing site in which has 3 sub-directory stores but sync's with 1 database. The 3 sub-directory stores of course have their own payment/checkout in different currencies. So whenever there is a change, he must sync with the other 2 stores. Pain.
Guess what I'm asking is this. Would I be able to use this software and create a store in which has 5 different languages, 3 currencies and depending on which language they are in, when paying, a particular currency would be the default. And instead of conversions, prices could be different depending on the 3 currencies?
yes you can. you can add as many languanges and currencies as you would like. when using the multistore you can choose default currency and language for each store

To be honest, considering first post, I'm not sure you can do what you desire. E.g. I'm almost sure you can't set different prices, one for each currency.
