ERROR on Using BlueLiquid template

I was testing some pages on my site and when I got to the Contact us page I receice these error messages:

any suggestions for a noob at programming

I have got everything working on this template for version 1.3.0 except when I click add to the cart on the first item the shopping cart show 0 items and 0 dollars, but when click it again it goes to 2 items and the correct dollar amount for 2 items. It should be noted that after clicking it the first time, if I go stright to checkout the items and dollar amount are correct. Any assistance would be appreciated.
