redirect help with opencart please new install

Hello,

I have a small but big problem. I moved my opencart mult store site from one server to another but some how the files and some of the database got corrupted. There are to many errors for me to try to fix.

What I would like to do is set up a redirect that will allow me to work on installing a fresh copy of opencart with my multi stores and still see my sites and work while others are redirect to a blog post that shows our downtime or what every page I need them to go.

Can someone point me in the right direction for this as to how to also with my multi stores.

If you put the site into maintenance mode then you can work on the site while normal customers will see a maintenance message so you could look at adding to the maintenance message?

Do your hosts not have a backup you can restore from?
