I would love to know what changes people have made to their websites that have helped to increase their Add To Cart %..

I have been looking at my product pages and know I can optimize them so much more, I just wondered what techniques others have used?

Here is my current product page:

Thoughts?

I find that providing an expectation on time to ship and time to delivery helps.

'eg. In-stock, order before 3PM and we ship it today'
'Next day shipping services available'

I just spent 4 months doing research on the very same question and the end result are the two products listed in my signature. Also agree with Tcalp, shipping expectations and stock status are very important details indeed.

I had a quick look at your page and if it was my site I would change 'Ready to buy?' to 'buy now' I personally feel that 'ready to buy?' puts an element of doubt in my mind. Am I ready to buy? maybe I should just check a few more websites 1st! As per the above comments, I find that adding the dispatch and delivery info in a sidebar on each page also helps. (mine's a sidebar as I added the shipping info after adding 1000 products and didnt fancy a manual edit!)

I treat my pages as if the visitor to my site might have landed on that page via a search engine and may never even see my homepage or shipping page etc. Give them everything they need to make a decision on that page!

Best of luck.

Thanks for the heads up. I will give the 'Buy Now' text a test on the site.
