product options

Hey there,

Is there anyway of adding some form of separate id or SKU for each product option
as well as being able to do so for free. I thought about using a bit of reverse engineering and finding a way to use the SKU method that's used on the products 'Data' options and and editing the code to then put in place in the options page ? any ideas ?
