downloads

hi guys im a newby to using this software i want to build a site that the customer downloads there item after complete purchase but clueless how to make this happen i have another site which i was helped to set up but from my admin controll pannel i just add new item pic desc and so on then click the button for set download file and point it to my download file on the server but i cant find any button to help me do this on here also can anyone tell me me any info for complete newbies to get me going in the right direction cheers for any help given

from the shop admin go to catalog -> downloads

create a new download

then go to catalog -> product ... select the data tab and scroll to the bottom of the page

you will see the new download you created .... check the box for the download.

you can then download the product from the user account on completing the transaction.
