Future Suggestions

I LOVE THE ADMIN LAYOUT AND DESIGN!

It's the main thing I hate about OsCommerce and ZenCart.

For future releases, I'd like to see:

Multiple Vendors
  - ability for new users to sign up automatically, ala ebay or amazon
  - having the ability to manage and add their own products
  - see sales reports for just their products
  - provide savings on shipping bundled products (if someone buys 2 or more products from the same vendor - calculations would probably be based on weight, taking into account the tare weight of the packaging).
  - notify admin and vendor of order upon receipt of payment if online payment.

Downloadable products (already mentioned).

Acceptance of money orders/checks.

Sales Tax by county, not just country or state/province.

Best Sellers, Recommended Products, Related Products and other "cross selling" displays.

Display Shipping Price on Product Page below price, ala Ebay Express.

Sale price next to "crossed out" list price.

Seller Review system.

Custom fields for additional product information.

I like the "Tabs" you have for products ordered reports: "general, data, image, category, etc"

It would be nice to see something similar used on the products page in the actual shop.  It's a simple and elegant way of organizing lots of information into a small amount of space without having to download more pages.

If any one would like to fix the bugs of 0.6 version I can release it.

I'm still spending all my free time working on 0.7.

It just seems alot of people like opencart as it currently is. The only problem are the bugs. 

i fixed a number of the issues with 0.6 in my installation as well as embarked on a number of customizations - but stopped after reading in the forum that my efforts were being duplicated in your planned changes for 0.7. i have been on the fence about continuing with 0.6 as it sounds like 0.7 will be a better starting point.

I'm not sure when I can get the next version released it shouldn't be to long. If you did release 0.6 with fixes we might be able to get opencart mentioned on www.opensourcecms.com. This site is used by a lot fo people and it would help gain popularity for opencart.

I can even finish the contribution section so people can upload there own contributions.
