Two shipping options I can't work out.

Opencart 1.5.3.1

Currently all of my items are set to free shipping but I wan't to try and work out the following two shipping options.

1)A discount when purchased with another product from the same manufacturer. These items are sent direct from the manufacturer and we pay only one shipping charge per order and would like to pass this saving to our customers. It would be preferable to list them as free shipping as standard.

2)Free shipping only when purchased with specific other items. These are small sundries that would require a shipping charge if sent on their own but we can send without a shipping charge if sent with certain other items.

For your manufacturer reduce shipping, you could use something like this:

But I'm not sure if this will fulfil your free shipping with specific items.

I think overall what might work best for you is this:
