problem on home page with second language

hi, i'm using OC 1.5.3.1 and i wanted to use it in bulgarian. everything is ok in english. in bulgarian is ok only on the inner pages. when i switch to bulgarian on home page i always have a message that ruins all my style:

Notice: Undefined index: 2 in /home/.../public_html/catalog/controller/module/welcome.php on line 8

when i use IE 8 it messes the encoding too. it automatically goes to "cyrillic" and the text is just some signs. i have to put it back to UTF8 every time so i can see the normal bulgarian text.

after refresh everything goes just fine. please help!

no one answered and i reinstalled. it's ok for now.
