Can't add products

hey guys last night I updated from version 1.5.2.1 to 1.5.3.1 and now all of the sudden I cannot Insert new products or edit current ones, though I can still insert and edit my categories I seriously feel like hitting my head against a hard place right now so all help is gratefully received thank-you to all in advance

You really need to give more info. Are you getting errors? Anything in the error log? Are you using any vqmods? etc.

no vqmods from what I know of and no errors as soon as i select insert or edit i get a blank screen :/
