Hi,

I have not seen register globals turned on for a long time!
It is turned off by default because it is a security risk.

Edit your php.ini

Look for this line: register_globals = On and change it to register_globals = Off

OpenCart has functions built in to handle Magic Quotes GPC but if you want to turn it off look for this line: magic_quotes_gpc = On and change it to magic_quotes_gpc = Off

Save the file and re-boot your server.

Phil.

Thanks for reply. Via FTP I have seen the php.ini option off. So I do not know why this error comes out.
That restarting my server I have no idea, I have to talk to my hosting provider?
Maybe they can put off those options for me?. Because the truth have not much idea of where or how to do things.
Thank you

It is not important that this error appears in the pre-installation?
Because I continue with the installation (despite leaving the error), and apparently everything works well.
My fear is that this error creates a problem later on when you enter the store my products, or even worse when people buy them.
Ensures that you can work without problems for this error?

it shouldn't you are better off to set them up correctly though because they are a security problem with some applications.

Daniel, I'm also getting Register Globals set to On but in php.ini it is set to Off. This is OK? Is there an easy way to remedy this?
