this is my first mod for opencart; when someone begins typing into your stores search bar, it looks through a list of your active products for possible matches and then displays a number of them below the search box. The list of suggestions can then be clicked (or navigated with the up/down arrow keys and a product selected with the enter key) to take the customer to the products page.
I've made this and tested with version 1.5.1+ - please let me know if you're interested in this for a different version!
