I do not want the "Estimate Shipping & Taxes" to show on the cart page.
When I disable "Shipping Estimator:" under order totals>>shipping in the admin, the shipping is not applied to the total in the actual checkout process.
I am using flat rate shipping only.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
If you disable shipping from Order Total than it will stop applying shipping. I don't think that by default is there any option given for disabling Shipping Estimator. The other way you can disable it by commenting it manually in catalog/view/theme/default/template/checkout/cart.tpl.

I'm using 1.5.2.1 and in the admin there are both options even though it doesn't work properly.
