1. How is ShipStation different from Endicia?

(the shipstation site says Free Encidia account with a ShipStation account so not sure of the difference)

2. What if you already have an Endicia account? Can you just use the same one for ShipStation?

3. Do you still get charged per month for both ShipStation and Endicia, or would you just be charged by ShipStation and the Endicia has no monthly fee?

4. Where is ShipStation located? Is it U.S.-based? I couldn't find any info on their site that identifies their operation, corporation, location, etc.

Thanks

ShipStation is very different from Endicia's Dazzle application. ShipStation is a web-based shipping manager that connects to your OpenCart store for downloading order information and communicating order status / tracking information back to OpenCart. There are a ton of features available - too many to put in this post, so I'll just point you here:

You can use your existing Endicia account if you would like, however that account won't automatically be converted to a free account.

If you open a new Endicia account through ShipStation, you will never be charged for that account. You will only be charged monthly by ShipStation.

Thanks!

I should also mention that ShipStation supports FedEx and UPS in addition to UPS. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Thanks

What about my fourth question:
4. Where is ShipStation located? Is it U.S.-based? I couldn't find any info on their site that identifies their operation, corporation, location, etc.

But what is your corporation name? Where are you incorporated? What is your corporate address? Corporate phone? Corporate officers, names?

http://www.linkedin.com/company/shipstation

Sorry, I did find the physical location at bottom of contact page:

http://www.shipstation.com/contact-us

But would still like to see corporate officer info and the like

Need to fully vet before considering using

Thanks

We are a Texas LLC, and our corporate address and phone number are listed on our Contact Us page here (bottom left):

http://www.shipstation.com/contact-us

Our corporate name is "Auctane LLC", and we also do business as "ShipStation". Our corporate officers are Jason Hodges (President) and Byron Wier (Vice President).
